Our family friendly chambres d'hotes consists of two double bedrooms and one family room with one further period family room due for completion during the 2012 season, all bedrooms are en suite and heated.  Please note that the Chambres d'Hotes is located up one flight of stairs but once on the first floor the bedrooms and bathrooms as well as the dining room are all on the same floor.

La Porte Valette is the name of the gate opening into the courtyard and was classified as an historic monument in 1928.  In the sixteenth century the house was an inn for cavaliers and foot soldiers and the gate opens right up to allow the passage of horses into the courtyard to enable them to be re-freshed in the stables.  The gate knocker that was used by the cavaliers was stolen in 2000 but replicas can be found in the local sculptors shop, Norman has now carved a new one as close to the original as possible and it is now fixed in position on the top of the gate.

Set in the picturesque town of Entraygues we are but a minutes walk from the rivers Truyere and Lot with plenty of fishing, kayaking and white water rafting.  The area around Entraygues is renowned for its walking, hiking and biking trails and every year the area has a month in July/August to celebrate this; we are also just 6kms from the well known St Jacques de Compostelle walk and can collect or drop off people that are staying if they want to walk a section of it.  Within the town are excellent restaurants, cafes and bars and for the younger children a swimming pool, playground and tennis courts with horse riding just a short drive away.

We have a secure enclosed courtyard that clients can use for overnight safe-keeping of their bikes and motor bikes.
